OrbitALL Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026 Company: Inspector Game Studios Ltd Registered in England and Wales, company no. 17484328 Registered office: 21 Central Avenue, Worthing, BN14 0DS Contact: [email protected]

The short version

- Your game progress stays on your phone. We don't have accounts or a server that stores it. - We ask for the year you were born once, and keep it only on your phone. It sets safer choices for younger players. - We show ads to keep the game free. Under-18s never get personalised ads. - You can switch reports off in Settings, and you can play without signing in.

About this policy

This notice applies to the OrbitALL mobile app for iPhone and Android, published by Inspector Game Studios Ltd. It explains the information used by the app and the choices available to players. The same policy applies on both platforms. Optional services may vary by platform and app version; each section applies only where the described service is available. You can play the core game without signing into an account.

Who is responsible

Inspector Game Studios Ltd (the details at the top of this policy) is the controller of the personal information described here. This means we decide how it is used. Google, Apple and Cloudflare provide services to the app, as described below. Where they use information for their own purposes, their own privacy policies apply.

Progress on your device

Scores, unlocked items, discoveries, tutorial progress and settings are saved on your device. The app does not upload its local progress file to a studio server or sync it to a studio account. Device-level backups are controlled by your platform and its settings. On Android, your device's backup may keep a copy of this progress and these settings in your own Google account backup; the ad, consent and sign-in services' data stored on the device and the local recovery copies are left out of it, and a restored copy does not turn daily reminders on for the new device. Removing app data can erase local progress. If you confirm Start Fresh after a save problem, the app preserves existing save files locally for recovery before creating a new profile.

Your age

The first time the app opens, it asks for the year you were born. The answer is saved only on this device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else, it is left out of device backups, and it cannot be changed in the app; removing and reinstalling the app asks again. The app uses it only to choose the settings described below. Because only a year is asked, the app counts you as the youngest you could be: for example, in 2026 a player born in 2013 is treated as 12. Until the question is answered, the app uses the settings for players under 13.

Three groups are used in this policy: - Players under 13, anywhere. - Players aged 13 to 17 in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland. The app counts you as being there if your device's region setting is one of those countries, if your device's time zone is in one of them, or if Google's consent tool says privacy rules for those countries apply. - Everyone else.

The same three signals also decide the rule below for adults in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland. Two rules apply across the groups: no player under 18 is shown personalised ads anywhere, and adults in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland get usage reports only if they turn them on.

Daily leaderboards

Where platform leaderboards are available, the app uses Google Play Games on Android or Apple Game Center on iPhone. Signing in allows your Daily score and gaming display name to appear on that service's leaderboard. The app uses your platform player identifier to associate submissions with the signed-in player. For players under 13, the app signs in only when the player taps Connect or Leaderboard. For other players, the app may sign in automatically when the device already has a Play Games or Game Center account. You can play without signing in; your score then remains local. Manage your gaming profile and information through your Google or Apple account and the platform's gaming-service controls. So that you can still see the leaderboard offline, the app keeps the last daily leaderboard it loaded (the positions, display names and scores shown on it) on your device only. It is replaced each time a new one loads, cleared when the daily course changes at 07:00 UTC if the app is open, and otherwise deleted the next time the app opens on a new daily course or when a different player signs in. It is left out of device backups.

Ads

The app shows ads from Google AdMob. There are two kinds: - Optional rewarded videos. You choose to watch one to continue a run, or to swap one of the day's challenges for another, once a day. - Full-screen ads between runs. None are shown in your first session. After that, one may be shown when you return to the menu, at most once every 10 runs and at most once every 5 minutes. There are no ads during play and no banner ads.

The Remove Ads purchase turns off the full-screen ads. The optional rewarded videos stay available.

How ads are chosen depends on your group: - Under 13: ad requests are marked as child-directed and under the age of consent, ad content is limited to a G rating, and ads are never personalised. - 13 to 17, anywhere: ad requests are marked as under the age of consent, ad content is limited to a T rating, and ads are never personalised. - 18 and over: ad content is limited to a T rating. Ads may be personalised only if you agree in Google's consent message where one is shown and, on iPhone, only if you allow tracking when Apple's prompt asks. If you do not agree, ads are not personalised. Players under 18 are never shown Google's consent message or Apple's tracking prompt.

Personalised ads are chosen using information about your activity across apps and websites. Non-personalised ads are chosen from things like the app itself and your general location. On iPhone, the app explains Apple's tracking prompt before it appears, and only to players aged 18 and over; nothing in the game depends on your answer.

Before the first ad is requested, the app checks with Google's consent tool whether a privacy message is needed where you are. Where Google's consent tool requires it, Settings shows AD PRIVACY OPTIONS so you can review or change your choice. On Android, Google's ad service may use the device's advertising ID for players aged 13 and over. For players aged 18 and over it is used to personalise ads where you have agreed, and for measurement and fraud prevention. For players aged 13 to 17 it is used only for measurement and fraud prevention, never to personalise ads. It is not used for players under 13, whose ad requests are child-directed. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's settings. On iPhone, the advertising identifier is available to ads only if you allow tracking. These settings do not mean no information is transmitted: Google's ad service may receive IP address, approximate location derived from it, ad interactions, diagnostic information and other device identifiers such as app set ID for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Purchases

The app sells Remove Ads, which also includes a set of cosmetics, and seasonal trails that are on sale around their holiday and kept once bought. There are no subscriptions, no loot boxes and no paid continues. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store, under your Google or Apple account; we never receive your card or payment details. The app receives only confirmation of what this account owns, saves it on the device, and checks it with the store when the app starts and when you return to it. Restore Purchases in Settings asks the store again. Refunds and purchase history are managed through Google or Apple; if a purchase is refunded, the item it gave is removed from the game the next time the store is checked.

The time check

So that everyone gets the same daily course, and seasonal trails go on sale on the right dates whatever your phone's clock says, the app asks our website (inspectorgamestudios.co.uk) for the current time while it is open (when it starts, when you return to it and about once a minute). If that check fails twice in a row, the app treats you as offline: you can still fly the daily course, but no score is sent, and the leaderboard shows the last one loaded that day. The request contains no identifier and no game data. As with any visit to a website, our web host, Cloudflare, receives your IP address to answer it; we do not use it to identify you.

Usage and crash reports

The app uses Google Firebase Analytics, for usage reports, and Firebase Crashlytics, for crash reports. What runs depends on your group: - Under 13: neither. Nothing about how you play, and no crash report, is sent by the app. - 13 to 17 in the UK, EEA or Switzerland: crash reports only, with a CRASH REPORTS switch in Settings to turn them off. - Everyone else: usage and crash reports, with a USAGE & CRASH REPORTS switch in Settings to turn them off. For adults in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, usage reports are off until you turn on the USAGE REPORTS switch in Settings; crash reports are on, with their own CRASH REPORTS switch.

Nothing is sent before the age question is answered. Usage reports record when a run starts and ends, whether it was the Daily, its score, distance, zone, what ended it and similar game figures, and when a rewarded video was watched to continue. Firebase also records basic app use, such as when the app is opened, how long it is used, and, on Android, that an in-app purchase was made (the item and price, not your payment details). Crash reports record technical details of a crash, such as the device model, operating-system version and where in the app it happened. Firebase uses an identifier for this install of the app, and receives your IP address, which can suggest a general location. The app does not give Firebase your name, your advertising ID, your gaming account or your age. We use these reports to fix problems and improve the game, never for advertising. Google's information about Firebase: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy

Separately, if the app crashes or stops responding, Google Play on Android or Apple on iPhone may collect crash and performance information under your device's settings, such as Usage & diagnostics on Android or Analytics & Improvements on iPhone.

Reminders and sharing

Daily reminders are scheduled locally on supported devices. The game does not send notification reminders through a studio server. Sharing creates a short summary of your run and opens your device's share controls or offers a copy action. You choose whether and where to send it. The destination service's policies apply after sharing.

Children and parents

OrbitALL is made for players aged 13 and over, but younger players may play it. It has no in-game chat. For players under 13 it uses the child settings described above: child-directed, non-personalised ads rated G, no usage or crash reports, and sign-in only when the player taps Connect or Leaderboard. Purchases are made through the Google or Apple account on the device, where parents can require approval. Parents can contact us with privacy questions. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive information about a child in a support email.

Contact, choices and deletion

Email [email protected] with privacy questions or requests about information associated with the game. If you contact us, your email address and the information you provide are used to handle that request. Support emails are stored by our email provider, on UK servers. Start Fresh resets current progress but preserves recovery copies locally. Removing app data can erase local files. Information already sent to Google, Apple or a sharing destination is managed separately. Usage and crash reports are linked to a random identifier for this install of the app, not to your name, email or gaming account, so we cannot find your reports from an email. Turning a switch off stops new reports. Turning usage reports off also deletes the usage identifier from your phone, and turning crash reports off deletes any crash reports not yet sent. Google deletes the reports it holds after the periods given under HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION.

Why we use information

UK and EU data protection law asks us to give a legal reason for each use: - Non-personalised ads, crash reports, the time check, and usage reports outside the UK, EEA and Switzerland: our legitimate interests in keeping the game free, working and fair. You can turn the reports off in Settings. - Personalised ads, and usage reports for adults in the UK, EEA and Switzerland: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, in AD PRIVACY OPTIONS or the USAGE REPORTS switch. - Purchases: to provide what you bought. - Daily leaderboards: our legitimate interest in running the leaderboard you choose to join by signing in. - Support emails: our legitimate interest in answering you.

Your year of birth and your game progress never leave your phone, so we do not hold them.

How long we keep information

- Usage reports: kept by Google Firebase for 14 months, then deleted. - Crash reports: kept by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days. - Support emails: kept for 90 days after your request is closed, then deleted. - Ad information is held by Google under its own policy. Leaderboard entries are held by Google or Apple until you remove them through your gaming account. - We keep no information about players under 13 ourselves, apart from any support email a parent sends, which follows the rule above.

Where information is processed

Google, Apple and Cloudflare may process information in the United States and other countries. Where information leaves the UK or the EEA, it is protected by legal safeguards such as the UK-US data bridge, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us for a copy of information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. You can also object to a use based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw a consent you gave. Email [email protected]. Most of what the app uses is never linked to you by us (see above), so we may not be able to find it, but we will tell you what we can do. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint) or your local data protection authority.

For parents in the united states

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 ourselves. If a child under 13 plays: - Ads come from Google AdMob as child-directed requests. Google receives device identifiers and IP address for ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention only. - No usage or crash reports are sent. - If the child taps Connect or Leaderboard and signs in to Google Play Games or Apple Game Center, their gaming display name and Daily score can appear on a public leaderboard. You can stop this by not signing in, or remove it through the child's Google or Apple account.

A parent can ask us to review or delete information about their child, or to stop further collection. Email [email protected], call +44 7939 194800, or write to the registered office above. Information Google or Apple holds is managed through the child's Google or Apple account and those companies' parental controls.

Updates

Updated notices will be available in Settings with a new date when the app's privacy practices change.
